A LITTLE LAB FOR LIGHT

Waveglass Field Studio

Send a signal. Shape its journey. Watch invisible fields become visible.

− electric field+ electric field

Light, in slow motion

This two-dimensional Maxwell field model advances an electric component and two magnetic components on a staggered grid. Teal and coral show opposite electric-field signs; brightness shows strength.

Try this: In Double slit, watch two openings become two new wave sources. In Glass lens, compare the curved front inside the glass with the front in vacuum. Paint a wall, then erase a doorway.

The edge sponge absorbs outgoing waves. The model uses normalized units and is an educational approximation, not an engineering design tool.

Keyboard: focus the field, arrows move the ring, Enter paints. Space pauses, N advances one step, C clears waves. All data stays on this device.
